Founding
Andrew M. Thaler is the founding member of Thaler Law Firm PLLC, having more than 30 years of experience as a bankruptcy and insolvency practitioner in New York at Thaler Law Firm, Thaler Gertler LLP (1997-2013), and as head of the bankruptcy department at Goldman Horowitz & Cherno. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Thaler has served as a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York since 1990.

Mr Thaler is a Commercial Mediator and serves on the Mediation Panels of the United States Bankruptcy Court E.D.N.Y., Supreme Court Nassau County Commercial Division and Nassau County Bar Association.

Thaler Law Firm PLLC's legal professionals are actively involved in the local legal community, contributing significant time to the Nassau County and New York City Bar Associations and engaging in pro bono activities through Nassau/Suffolk Law Services.
