  • In Fall 2022 Andrew M. Thaler was named for the 11th year in a row to the New York – Metro “Super Lawyers” list as one of the top attorneys in New York in Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights. No more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected for “Super Lawyers”.

  • On November 2, 2022 Andrew M. Thaler made a presentation on “Bankruptcy Process for the “Know Your Rights Workshop” series sponsored by Legal Hand a volunteer organization that provides free legal information, assistance and referrals to help individuals resolve issues that affect their lives and prevent problems turning into legal actions. 

Andrew M. Thaler Presents Mediation Program with Chapter 11 Advisory Committee
  • On July 27, 2022 Andrew M. Thaler participated, along with Eastern District New York Bankruptcy Judges Louis A. Scarcella and Elizabeth S. Stong and other members of the Chapter 11 Advisory Committee for the Eastern District of New York, in presenting a vignette style mediation training program with discussion of how and when disputes can be sent to mediation.

  • On March 26, 2021 Andrew Thaler participated, along with Eastern District New York Bankruptcy Judges Louis A. Scarcella, Elizabeth Stong, Chief Judge Alan S. Trust and other members of the Chapter 11 Advisory Committee for the Eastern District of New York, in presenting a  program “Mediating a Fraudulent Conveyance Action: A View from the Inside.”, an interactive role-play program in a mock mediation of a high-stakes fraudulent conveyance action.

Andrew M. Thaler recognized for Pro Bono Legal Service
  • On Wednesday evening April 18, 2018 the Nassau County Bar Association, in collaboration with Nassau Suffolk Law Services and The Safe Center hosted an Access to Justice Recognition reception at the Nassau County Bar Association to show appreciation to firms and individuals who have performed exemplary pro bono service to the community. Andrew M. Thaler was recognized for his work with the pro bono bankruptcy clinic which he participates in and helped form over 28 years ago. The clinic screens indigent persons for bankruptcy eligibility and provides free legal services to qualified individuals that enables them to obtain an economic "fresh start'.​
